MeteorCity è stata una delle etichette più importanti per la crescita e la conferma del movimento Stoner-Rock fra la fine degli anni ’90 e gli inizi del nuovo millennio. L’uscita di debutto dell’etichetta, “Welcome to Meteor City”, fu realizzata nel 1998 e andò velocemente fuori stampa.
Adesso, a 12 anni di distanza, l’etichetta è ancora una volta al centro del panorama Stoner-Rock/Doom/Sludge.
